So to start of this fresh blog I decided to take a look at the Prawn Saganaki, a traditional Greek recipe from Corfu. This dish is fairly easy to make but has a great taste and alot of nice, fresh ingredients are used to build this one. The dish can serve as a starter or as a main course if you add some bread or pasta.
The main ingredients used for this recipe are: king prawns (preferably fresh but frozen ones work fine if you want to cut the budget) freshly chopped tomatoes and feta cheese. The Greek add some ouzo too to give it a really distinct taste. Seafood fans will like this one for sure!

Welcome to my new blog
Hi there, and welcome to my new blog that will (soon) cover traditional greek dishes and some real nice recipes so you can enjoy these dishes at home yourself! If you never been to Greece before I would strongly recommend you to go there if you get the chance, not only the food is excellent but the weather and the culture as well! People dance the sirtaki, drink ouzo, alot of fisherman can be seen at work and the water is very clear it's amazing.
For the unfortunate souls who won't be able to visit this country anytime soon: no worries, through this blog I'll be bringing a bit of the Greek culture to you with the main aspect being the Greek kitchen.
Stay tuned for some great recipes!
